Into The Past expansion release and overview - June 14, 2024

The Into The Past expansion for The Demon Rush: Legends Corrupt has released on PC and Playstation 4!

This release includes 3 new modes -- the Story Mode "Side Stories", the Action Mode "RopeRange" and the Adventure Mode "Prison Break".

Side Stories was covered in the previous dev blog update, and dev blog pages have been added for RopeRange and Prison Break -- in the case of Prison Break, its page is a strategy guide.

One notable change over the course of development that was not mentioned in the previous dev blog update -- RopeRange and Prison Break do not have difficulty levels like other non-Story modes do. They were originally going to have Legend/Legend Plus difficulties, but the specifics for the higher difficulties would either interfere too much with the action (RopeRange) or would interfere too much with the overall balance (Prison Break). Since the higher difficulty levels interfered with gameplay rather than add to it, they are not present in RopeRange and Prison Break as a result.

With the Into The Past expansion now completed, work will begin immediately on the Warbeasts expansion. Warbeasts intends to bring a new character, a new Strategy Mode (Counterintelligence), a new summoning mechanic, a new story arc with a new world, and more Side Stories.
