Pushback


Pros

Like all characters in Story Mode and Endless Dungeon, Jimmy starts with Pushback. Jimmy, through his Pressure Point tree, can gain Pushblast, which inflicts Stagger to an area and heals Jimmy for 5 HP per Stagger inflicted. Given Jimmy's ability for Defense buffs and that Stagger lasts for 1 second during the Body Field Effect, this can be a very useful ability to trigger in a group of enemies at close range.


Cons

Pushback/Pushblast has few negatives, but it is typically more of a solid bonus for Pressure Point/Body Field Effect, and not generally worth going out of the way for otherwise.



Knockdown


Pros

Like all characters in Story Mode and Endless Dungeon, Jimmy starts with Knockdown, and is useful for making an enemy unable to fight back for 2 seconds while they receive 50% more damage.


Cons

Knockdown is nice for what it is, but it does not do anything beyond its status ailment. Its 15 second cooldown for its simplicity is also rather high.



Twister


Pros

Twister is a high speed Body ability that, unlike most other mobile attacks, can have its direction controlled by the player. Maxed out, it can deal Attack x 3 damage (Attack x 5 damage with Grand Hero Katar) every 1/4 of a second for one second, with a cooldown of 5 seconds, as well as triggering Stagger around Jimmy at Twister's end. The wide area Stagger, decent damage and low cooldown for Field Effect influence/maintainance make for a very solid ability for a Body Field Effect build.


Cons

Twister, being the mobile spinning whirl of blades with active hit frames that it is, is not so great for an approach ability, as many enemies will see it coming and block and dodge early. It either needs to be triggered up close as enemies are acting for damage, or to end near them for Dramatic Entrance's Stagger.



Pressure Point


Pros

Pressure Point, at maximum, deals Attack x 6 damage with a cooldown of 15 seconds, with an extra 4x damage during the Body Field Effect. Very useful during the Body Field Effect, as its cooldown is shorter than most other 4x Body Field Effect abilities, and Jimmy has the Defense buffs and self-healing to use it more safely than others.


Cons

Outside of the Body Field Effect, Pressure Point is typically not an investment choice for other builds.



Dead Drop


Pros

Maxed out, Dead Drop is an invincible leap forward that deals Attack x 7.5 on landing, and if damage is inflicted, removes 2 seconds from all of Jimmy's cooldowns. Even if it does not hit, Dead Drop can deal Stagger to a wide area around Jimmy (though the cooldown is not applied if no damage is inflicted). Very useful for helping Jimmy to keep a wide-area Stagger lock, due to the cooldown reduction and the combination of wide-area Stagger abilities from this, Pushblast, Twister, Smoke Grenade and Shuriken/Zipmore Dirks.


Cons

Dead Drop is a precision ability. While the wide area Stagger will always trigger with the Necromancer's Landing passive, the damage and cooldown reduction only occurs if Jimmy manages to land the small hit area. While Jimmy is invincible as he is leaping, he can still be hurt as he comes down. This is typically an ability that does not have much use outside of Body Field Effect builds, due to its focus on Stagger lock.
