Far Shot


Pros

Claire starts with Throwing Knife by default in Story Mode and Endless Dungeon. Throwing Knife is a projectile that can deal up to Attack x 2 damage (Attack x 4 damage with the Rogue Dagger equipped) at a cooldown as low as 2 seconds, making an excellent long-range Mind Field Effect influencer/maintainer. With the Mind Field Effect active, Claire has two extra ways to power up Throwing Knife -- Cheetah/Mega Cheetah to give Throwing Knife double damage and zero cooldown, and her Poison Knife weapon, which grants a powered up Poison that can be as powerful as 110 damage/second for 10 seconds (while ignoring defense/Mind Field Effect damage drops).


Cons

Throwing Knife, despite its low damage modifier, is actually a very high damage ability for Claire during the Mind Field Effect, especially with Sixth Sense/Mindgames, Cheetah/Mega Cheetah and Poison Knife -- without these setups and investments, however, Throwing Knife has far less use.



First Aid


Pros

Claire starts with First Aid by default in Story Mode and Endless Dungeon. First Aid does not gain any power beyond its 20 HP heal, but its cooldown can be lowered to 10 seconds for more frequent use (Claire can also have her Stealth ability reduce First Aid cooldown to zero, as well), letting it also help influence/maintain the Mind Field Effect.


Cons

All healing abilities are useful, and even though it can be used frequently, the 20 HP heal Claire brings is more light support than it is a game-changer.



Sixth Sense


Pros

Sixth Sense is an ability that, at its base, does nothing more than give Claire very fast dodges for 8 seconds. However, Claire can boost its duration to 18 seconds and gain the Mindgames passive, which can boost Claire's total damage output while Sixth Sense is active by 30% for every enemy her dodges end near -- WITH NO UPPER LIMIT (though it still reverts to 0 on Sixth Sense ending). This pairs very well with Throwing Knife in Mind Field Effect builds, due to Mindgames being able to take advantage of Throwing Knife's long range, 2x damage and zero cooldown in this scenario.


Cons

While there is no upper limit to Mindgames, it has limited use in other builds. Body Field Effect builds are too dangerous to keep ending dodges near enemies and Water Field Effect builds will likely be better off with Throat Jab for ease of use. It also needs some planning, as Claire will need to spend time dodging to buff her offense high enough to get use out of it.



Cheetah


Pros

Cheetah is a buff that, for 8 seconds, boosts Claire's Combat Movement by 100% and her Attack by 10, but gives her Defense - 25%. During the Mind Field Effect with her Mega Cheetah passive, Claire instead gains Attack + 40 and Defense + 25%, as well as granting Throwing Knife 2x damage and zero cooldown.


Cons

As can be seen by the powerful Mega Cheetah passive that only triggers during the Mind Field Effect, this is an ability that is useful only for the Mind Field Effect.



Stealth


Pros

Maxed out, Stealth is an ability that makes Claire invisible to enemies for up to 13 seconds, while zeroing out Frist Aid's cooldown. This is not just a reverse-Provoke for Claire; it is also a panic button, as if Claire is the only character currently alive, she can trigger Stealth, run away and heal. Enemies can still defend themselves, but Claire's Throwing Knives can still hit enemies unaware.


Cons

Since enemies can still block or dodge while Claire is stealthed, outside of Throwing Knives and some other abilities, Claire cannot use Stealth offensively very well.
